CHEV Radio Station Update

The engineers were in on the weekend. They evaluated the equipment, installed some new wiring, took stuff out of the transmitter, and cleaned up after themselves. Bottom line: it looks like our equipment needs more extensive work then we thought.

Therefore, all shows and our live stream will be suspended until Nov. 15. We won't go back on-air (internet and hopefully radio) until every single equipment issue is taken care of. For the record, Nov. 15 is not set in stone. We might be ready before that time and we might be ready after that time.

If you any questions or comments, please contact CHEV Radio: 905-294-0033 or chevradio@gmail.com.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please continue to check our websites for updates.

NEW SHOW: The Complainers

Do you have a complaint? About your friends, your neighbours, the service you got, the price you paid, the school, the neighbours, the kids, the boss? Here’s the place to vent. One hour on a Friday afternoon where we’ll listen to your complaints. We’ve been complaining for years — and we’d like you to join us.Check back here for our upcoming topics. This Friday, July 6th, we’ll be talking about

  • Tipping — how much of a tip should you leave?

Do you feel pressured to tip for mediocre service?

How about those tip jars that seem to be popping up everywhere? I mean, can’t we just pay for something without having to give our change back

How do you feel? Call us on Friday 1 pm. 1-877-242-chev OR send us an e-mail in advance: complainersradio@gmail.com

  • Public space, private stuff –

hey, how do you feel when you see a woman breastfeeding her child in public? Does it give you the creeps, make you feel uncomfortable? Or, do you think it’s perfectly ok…maybe even beautiful. Don’t be shy, if you want to complain about either side of the issue, call us.

  • To spank or not to spank –

were you ever threatened by the wooden spoon as a kid? There’s a growing debate about spanking these days — is it a parent’s right or is it violence? Call us and let us know where you stand on this issue.

Who are The Complainers?

We’re Anjali and Michele – two urban women who get accused of complaining a lot. Some even call us negative. But we’ll listen to either side of an issue. More importantly, we want to hear what you’ve got to complain about. Join us Fridays at 1 pm, on chevradioam.com or send us an e-mail and tell us what you think at complainersradio@gmail.com. Don’t be shy! There are lots of complaints to be made!

Listen to The Complainers on www.chevradioam.com: Fridays, 1-2 pm ET

Tonight's "The Ten" will be a re-broadcast as the boys are on vacation, but at 9PM EST we have "My Radio Show" with Matt Chin and Ricky Thompson. Both have a web talk show that you can access at www.myshowscrazy.com.

Tomorrow after BTN (9AM-Noon EST) we have "The Gonzo Report" with B.H. Ramsay at 12, followed by "The Complainers" at 1PM. If you have something to complain about this would be the place to do it.

Tomorrow night a 9PM, Suburban Bass checks in with their mixers and vinyl to bring you the best underground electronic music they have to offer.

Website traffic gets awfully hectic at this time of the week so we hope you can join us right here: www.chevradioam.com.
