From June 26-28, Markham resident Harry James ran on an elliptical machine, to raise money for The Centre For Dreams. Every day, Harry was on the elliptical from 4am - 4pm. CHEV Radio was there.

The Centre For Dreams is an organization that provides educational opportunities to adults with special needs. The centre strives to focus on their members' abilities and not their disabilities.

Checking in after a hectic Thursday show - a typical Thursday to me - and I've been very excited this morning about what's coming up over the next day or so.

Tonight's "The Ten" will be a re-broadcast as the boys are on vacation, but at 9PM EST we have "My Radio Show" with Matt Chin and Ricky Thompson. Both have a web talk show that you can access at www.myshowscrazy.com.

Tomorrow after BTN (9AM-Noon EST) we have "The Gonzo Report" with B.H. Ramsay at 12, followed by "The Complainers" at 1PM. If you have something to complain about this would be the place to do it.

Tomorrow night a 9PM, Suburban Bass checks in with their mixers and vinyl to bring you the best underground electronic music they have to offer.

We're still looking to add to our programming but we want to make sure you know that you need a show proposal, your resume, cover letter and demo as well as some background in the world of media - school, work or otherwise.

The Ten is on tonight at 8PM and then I'm back on tomorrow morning with BTN at 9AM followed by The Gonzo Report at 12 Noon. Hope to hear from all of you.

MLB on Fox and Dan Deeley?

It was pointed out to me on the Fox Blog site that my blog was featured in a commercial for Foxsports. They were showing it on MLB on Fox this past Saturday afternoon during the pre-game. They were promoting their website on a commercial and when they got to the blog section they had the camera on someone's blog with my name "The_Dan", as well as prominent blogger, FlyingPig. I did not get into the game until after the top of the 1st inning between the New York Mets and Detroit Tigers. But I appreciate the folks on the Fox blogs that pointed this out to me. Next week I plan to get into the game as early as I can.

I just wanted to let my listeners in York Region know that I will be appearing on Rogers Cable 10 and 63 on June 8th, 2007 to discuss summer movies on a show called daytime york Region.

The show airs at 11 a.m. and repeats at 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. that day and 5 a.m. Saturday. I hope you'll tune in.
